Daktronics improves the security management of the Pueblo RTCC with a Led video wall
The Real Time Crime Center (RTCC) of the Pueblo Police Department (Colorado, EU) now has a high resolution dvLed video wall Daktronics, with pixel pitch 1,2 mm, that allows you to view data, critical information and images.
As one of the first security facilities in the American state of Colorado, he Real Time Crime Center (RTCC) of the Pueblo Police Department is responsible for the supervision and prevention of crimes thanks to video capture and surveillance.
For this, Supervision is based on ShotSpotter technology, with sensors in high crime areas of this American city, that send alerts to the RTCC within a period of 60 seconds since the same occurs.
The installation of a videowall dvLed from the manufacturer Daktronics at the RTCC, according to the project integrated by High Point Networks, allows visualization of data, critical information and images in high resolution.
Pueblo's RTCC provides law enforcement real-time data and information useful to effectively combat crime and improve response times. Through the integration of advanced technologies and analytics, This center helps the Pueblo Police Department make informed decisions and deploy resources more efficiently.
As pointed out Chris Noeller, police chief, “the integration of the RTCC of the Pueblo Police Department, featuring cutting-edge video technology from Daktronics, provides a crucial advantage in tackling crime throughout the city. Allows our technicians to have a clear view of incidents as they develop”.
The installation of Daktronics Led technology “improves our department's efforts to be leaders in the use of innovative methods that increase efficiency and effectiveness, helping officers quickly locate and arrest suspects, while providing substantial evidence to assist in the investigation of the incidents.”, assures Noeller.
The Pueblo Police Department recently hosted an open house City of Pueblo Community Connect, in which the new initiative was presented, developed to promote public safety and strengthen community collaboration.
The program connect security camera systems from local businesses to citywide RTCC. During this day, James Martin, deputy chief of the Pueblo Police Department, explained that the RTCC observed a drug transaction on the Daktronics Led screen, clearly identifying the suspect, the narcotics he sold and other people involved.
Complete supervision
The integrator High Point Networks has provided a robust and secure network infrastructure, which guarantees a Seamless communication and data flow within the RTCC.
Daktronics equipped the center with a high-resolution dvLed video wall, con pixel pitch 1,2 mm, allowing for complete monitoring and rapid assessment of the situation.
This Led video wall measures approximately 2,1 meters high by 3,6 wide and meets the Trade Agreements Law (TAA), as Daktronics performs rigorous quality testing and designs and assembles the final display system, including display interface, at its Brookings facilities, located in the American region of South Dakota.
The technology of this dvLed screen is capable of divide content into variable zoness, so you can display multiple windows with different content to share all the critical information needed for the RTCC to function at a high level.
The innovative platform security software from the manufacturer Genetec It also plays a fundamental role in the unification of video surveillance, access control and other security systems, in a cohesive and manageable interface.
“We are proud to collaborate with the city of Pueblo on this impactful project that improves public safety and strengthens community collaboration,” he says. Tom McDougall, President and CEO of High Point Networks-. Through our comprehensive technological solutions, “We have contributed to the RTCC functioning smoothly and efficiently”.
