With Display District they have created a new event model, focused exclusively on the ProAV business line, How would you describe in one sentence what this innovative commitment has meant for Hikvision Iberia??
It was a declaration of intent: Display District 2025 represents how we understand the ProAV world today from Hikvision Iberia, putting real user experience at the center of everything.
What has been its main objective and how do you think it has been achieved??
We wanted to show our solutions in a completely realistic environment, where professionals could play, interact and visualize how to integrate them into your own projects. It was not about showing a product, but to share a vision of practical application. The response from professionals has been overwhelmingly positive., which confirms that we have more than fulfilled.
What would you highlight about the atmosphere and professional profile of the attendees during the two days of the event??
The most notable thing has been the level of specialization: integrators, consultants, technical managers, key distributors… Professionals with a critical and expert perspective who came looking for concrete solutions. And I would also highlight the energy of the event: innovation and desire to collaborate was breathed.
From their call they indicated that Display District, far from a conventional event, It was an immersive experience.. How did you design that tour of environments and what message of value they wanted to transmit to the professional AV channel?
Yeah, From the first moment we were clear that we wanted to create a different experience. We designed a thematic circuit divided into seven spaces: retail, restoration, corporate, education, control room, outdoor and area of workshops, so that the visitor could walk through real scenarios, like a fashion store or a meeting room, and see the technology at work, in its natural context. The goal was to generate inspiration.
In that sense, Why is it so important for manufacturers to show technology in its context of use??
Because the real value of an audiovisual solution is not understood in a technical sheet, but when you see it solving a specific need. When you enter a store with a curved LED integrated into the architecture, or in a room with a screen all-in-one working wirelessly, everything makes sense. We wanted each professional to say: “I can apply this tomorrow in my project”.
What has been the solution, the Hikvision ProAV technology that has aroused or surprised the most interest among Display District professionals?
The curved and modular LEDs were, definitely, one of the strong points. Also the dual high luminosity solutions for shop windows and exteriors and, of course, our interactive displays for education and collaboration. But the most commented thing has been the ability to integrate all these technologies in a fluid and aesthetic way in the spaces., without compromising design or functionality.
At Display District they have brought together their ecosystem of partners and clients, What value does this type of event bring to the business??
It is essential. Hikvision does not work alone: work with the channel. These types of events are a platform to strengthen ties, share knowledge and build together. In fact, many projects are born from the conversations that take place in these types of meetings.
More than thirteen partners have participated in the event. How does this collaboration network fit into Hikvision's ProAV ecosystem growth strategy??
Collaboration with partners like Visiotech, Esprinet, Casmar or ADI, inter alia, It is a key part of our strategy. They provide added value, complementary solutions and a proximity to the market that enriches the global proposal. Together we not only show product, but complete projects, from technology to actual implementation.
After the celebration, What opinions have you received from the attendees and what learning has Hikvision Iberia had for future editions??
He feedback it has been excellent. Many professionals told us that it was “the event of the year” for audiovisuals. We learn that the sector highly values staging, but, above all, the utility. For future editions, We are going to continue promoting the personalization of the tours and the active participation of the visitor.
From his position in the company, How is the evolution of the ProAV market in Iberia and what role does Hikvision want to play in this development??
The market is growing solidly, and the demand for intelligent visual solutions, flexible and connected is increasingly. In this context, Hikvision wants to be much more than a supplier: we want to be a strategic partner that understands the needs of the channel and offers useful innovation, reliable and aligned with the current challenges of the sector.
Will you host more events like this in the future?? Is Display District a format that is here to stay??
Definitely. This format has proven to be very effective and valued. Display District no es un showroom: It is a living experience, evolving. We are already thinking about how to take it to other cities, in adapted formats, but with the same essence.
What message would you give to professionals who were unable to attend Display District? 2025?
Let them be attentive, because new opportunities will come. And that they have Hikvision not only as a supplier, but as an ally in your projects. Our technology is designed to make it easier, effective and attractive solutions. See you in the next edition!
