Cisco Webex Apple Vision Pro

This new feature of Cisco expands the offer and experience of Webex to Apple Vision Pro by incorporating spatial computing and merging digital content with the physical world, improving the way teams work during video conferences.

3D models represent objects spatially but, often, are displayed in 2D environments as if they were on flat computer screens. To convey a new feeling of height, width and depth, Cisco Webex has developed the function ‘Collaboration with 3D models’ to Apple Vision Pro.

Thanks for that, Cisco transforms the way teams create, analyze and collaborate on ideas through Webex video conferences. The solution expands its offering for Apple Vision Pro with a better experience, given that incorporates spatial computing and merges digital content with the physical world.

This development adds to that of Spatial Meetings, presented last year by the company, that uses the Cisco Room Bar Pro dual cameras to bring never-before-seen depth and realism to Webex meetings for Apple Vision Pro.

During such a meeting, users can Share 3D models and explore them with colleagues in real time: mover, rotate, expand and manipulate within your own physical space, while other participants simultaneously interact with the same object.

A joint collaboration in which users wearing Apple Vision Pro can point out details, exchange ideas and share or modify creations that are not possible on a flat screen.

Webex users have the ability to upload models from their Vision Pro device or from a computer, making it easy to add resources to shared meetings. The platform allows share multiple models simultaneously, so teams interact with various designs during the session.

Besides, Meeting hosts have the flexibility to allow all users to modify 3D models or restrict control, obtaining a personalized collaboration experience for each project.

The new '3D Model Collaboration' feature, now available, transforms the way teams ideate, design and solve problems. From the teaching and architecture to product modeling, maintenance and repairs, opens new possibilities in different sectors and roles.
