SNA Displays deploys its LED technology in the historic Hinkle Fieldhouse pavilion
The centerpiece of the project carried out in this American sports venue is a large suspended LED screen, composed of four curved video panels from the Bold interior line of SNA Displays, seamlessly connected to create a 360º visual surface.
The Butler University, located in Indianapolis (EU) has completed a project to improve the display systems in the historical Hinkle Fieldhouse, headquarters of the programs Bulldogs basketball and volleyball, and thus offer a better experience to fans and visitors at this venue., which is considered a national historic monument and will celebrate its centenary in two years.

The technology consultancy Anthony James Partners (AJP) provided design services, procurement and construction management to carry out these improvements, supporting those responsible for Butler University in the selection of SNA Displays for the manufacture and installation of almost 260 m2 of Led video display technology, including a system of center screen, LED strips on the baselines, several scorers tables at the foot of the slope, etc.

The centerpiece is a new Led screen suspended in the center, composed of four curved video panels from the Bold indoor line from the North American manufacturer SNA Displays.
The four sides of these Led screens are seamlessly connected to create a 360º video surface. Each of them has a separation between pixels of 3,9 mm, with a total resolution of 1,088×6.784p. The two longest ones measure 4,27 meters high and 7,52 wide, and the shortest pair is 4.27×5,74 m.
Among other features of this large central LED video screen, its personalized static letters stand out., located in the upper ring of the structure, and the team logo, the bulldog, which is oriented towards the playing surface.
SNA Displays has also developed for the venue two Led Bold tapes 90 cm tall, with one pixel pitch of 4 mm and a resolution of 225×13.080p each, which extend over approximately 52,5 meters on the second level of the enclosure, at both ends of the pavilion.
This project also includes two screens 5,8 m long and 225×1.440p, installed in the viewing area between the second and third level, as well as eight new mobile scorer tables at the foot of the court equipped with LED screens, with a resolution of 180x720p. All of these systems use SNA Displays' indoor Led Bold video technology. 4 mm.
Besides, in it gimnasio Efroymson Family Gym, a training facility adjacent to the main court, have been installed two new all-in-one Led screens of the Aspect HD model from this manufacturer, both with step pixel 2,5 mm, that are directly integrated into the new venue control and management system. Hinkle Fieldhouse video network processes more than 19 million pixels in total.
