SeeSound renews its commitment to light and creativity as official sponsor of the Umbra Light Festival 2026
Umbra Light Festival will once again illuminate Vitoria-Gasteiz del 6 al 8 February 2026, when it will celebrate its fifth edition under the motto 'Light that unites' and will have one more year with Sea sound as official sponsor of the contest.
for three nights, The city will be transformed into a lighting art scene in which Installations created by national and international artists will coexist. This year's proposal invites connect people, generations and cultures through a journey that integrates light, technology and artistic expression in some of the most representative spaces of the urban area.
With your support, Seesound support one of the events Light Art most notable on the state scene. The company, distributor in Spain and Portugal of leading brands in lighting and audiovisual technology, thus consolidates its link with an initiative that combines innovation, culture and citizen participation.
Since its premiere in 2019, Umbra Light Festival has established itself as a reference inside and outside the country. The three most recent editions have brought together more than 100.000 visitors and have reached hotel occupancy rates higher than 90%, an indicator of cultural impact, tourist and economic that the festival generates in the city. The journey of 2026 will link again iconic settings like the Plaza de España, the Province Square, the Garden of Falerina, Saint Mary's Cathedral, the Ensanche and the Medieval Almendra, in addition to extending to neighborhoods like Leuven, San Martín and El Anglo, reinforcing its inclusive nature and its desire to involve all citizens.
Light as a connecting tool
The works of this fifth edition will revolve around light as a connecting tool and universal language. Interactive installations, light sculptures, architectural projections, kinetic works and proposals based on new technologies will make up an itinerary that invites us to reflect on contemporary issues such as coexistence, the role of art in society, the cities of the future, sustainability and climate impact.

Access to the festival will be free and can be enjoyed on Friday 6 to sunday 8 February, of 19:00 a 23:00 hours, with some facilities open from 16:30. Besides, The official app of the event will be made available to visitors again, which will offer detailed information on the interactive map, schedules and location of the works to facilitate the planning of the route.
