WHEREAS 2026 promotes a new stage in immersive learning and exploration
The content program of the edition 2026 of WHEREAS will redefine learning in the industry with the vision of thought leaders and innovators in a unique technology environment, creativity and collaboration.

The program Summits (sectoral summits) of the imminent edition of the contest invites attendees to delve into high-impact sessions, specific to different environments and designed to foster innovation and support strategic growth.
These Summits, of access through specific entrance and of half day duration, will address emerging areas such as cybersecurity, control centers, smart buildings, Broadcast AV, digital signage and educational technology.
Each of them has been designed to offer real practical cases, forward-thinking strategies and discussions among professionals that address today's key challenges and tomorrow's opportunities.
As a novelty in 2026, has been presented CyberSecurity Summit (Cybersecurity summit, more details in Digital AV), chaired by Pere Ferrer and Tailor, former general director of the Mossos d'Esquadra among 2019 y 2024 and public safety expert, digital transformation and regulatory frameworks.
At this summit, Ferrer will lead the debate on How to address the rise of digital threats in AV infrastructure, smart enclosures and critical systems, placing cybersecurity as a strategic and not just a technical element.
Megatrends that drive future technology
For those looking for a more flexible and inspiring format, the Megatrends program (Megatrends) proposes a series of short, intensive sessions focused on six major areas: artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, robotics, smart spaces, sustainability and tradescape.
Moderated by leading figures in the sector, as Rich Mulholland, Shaun Reardon y Florian Rotberg, These sessions are designed to generate reflection and offer practical conclusions about the trends that will mark the future of technology., in a format that easily fits into the visitor's agenda.

Avixa: conference on AI, XR and sustainability in AV
Of tuesday to thursday, of 15:00h a 18:00h, in the room CC5.2, the association Avixa invites professionals and enthusiasts of the sector to a free conference which will include twelve specialized sessions in Spanish. The program will address the latest trends in Broadcast AV, artificial intelligence, extended reality (XR), immersive technologies and sustainability applied to audiovisual solutions.
Each presentation and round table, of forty minutes long, will offer expert analysis, practical strategies and interactive discussions, providing a comprehensive view of the innovations that are defining the future of the AV sector.
Practical audio: Cedia workshop
Within your program, the association give in will present a complete new workshop, of one day long, titled Cedia RP-32: Audio system measurement and verification, focused on the measurement and verification of audio systems, that will be celebrated on 2 February in room CC1.2.
