Templus expands its presence in Madrid and Valencia with the purchase of Grupo Aire data centers
Templus acquires three data centers Air Group in Spain and Portugal, reinforcing its international expansion by adding the data centers in Lisbon to its platform, Madrid and Valencia.
At the same time, Grupo Aire will act as a strategic partner of Templus, maintaining its clients in these data centers and increasing its capillarity by adding those that Templus operates in Madrid, Barcelona, Málaga, Seville and soon, Ceuta.
Thanks to this transaction, Templus adds 6,5 MW at its installed power, whatswill exceed 60MW throughout 2026 thanks to the recent agreement to acquire nine Atlas Edge data centers in Spain, United Kingdom, France, Italia, Netherlands, Denmark and Switzerland. In all these infrastructures, Templus will undertake a set of reforms to improve its operational capacity, increasing its power and surface. In addition, will provide them with the highest standards of sustainability and energy efficiency following the company's strong commitment to ESG criteria. This way, will meet the requirements to be qualified as TIER III.
For your part, Grupo Aire reinforces its network and consolidates its capacity to offer services high-quality connectivity and cloud to companies and organizations, benefiting from planned improvements in data centers and expanded access to the entire Templus network as a strategic partner (Madrid, Barcelona, Málaga, Seville and soon, Ceuta). All this while maintaining the attention and management of its clients with total normality., both in their own data centers (Alicante, Talavera de la Reina and the Canary Islands) like now on the complete Templus network, which allows it to continue promoting the development of its cloud platform and the creation of advanced solutions.
