WHEREAS 2026 will illuminate the sky of Barcelona with a great drone show
More than 600 drones will participate in the WHEREAS Drone Show, a show that will take place at the southern access to Fira de Barcelona Gran Vía del 3 al 5 from February to 18:30 with the production of Lang AG.
The show combines a drone choreography perfectly synchronized with light and sound; and dynamic visual narrative approach, y live performances by musicians, an opera singer and a digital artist. All these elements will interact with the content shown on the welcome screen of the ISE South Access, creating a “multi-sensory” experience. Mike Blackman, director general de Integrated Systems Europe, states that the initiative is “a reflection of the innovative spirit of our community and what can be achieved when artistic creativity and technology advance hand in hand”.
From the technical point of view, the ISE 2026 Drone Show offers the opportunity to see some of the most advanced audiovisual technologies of the moment in operation. Real-time data processing, high precision automation, advanced drone control systems and immersive visualization technologies will be made available to 600 drones synchronized with real-time graphics projected on the South Access welcome screen, a transparent LED installation of 193 m² driven by Muxwave y Realtime Department, which acts as a dynamic background for the show. The shows have the technical support of DAMM, and with the sponsorship of Absen, Christie, MA Lighting and Clay Paky
“Both the drones and the visual content on the transparent LED screen, as well as music and live sound, They had to be perfectly aligned.
