Analog Way deploys its Aquilon RS4 in Times Square

El “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026”, New Year's Eve show broadcast live on the ABC, featured in the Aquilon RS4 Analog Way to control visual effects and content synchronization of Times Square LED screens.

This emblematic format, the most followed New Year's Eve special in the United States, was first produced by Jupiter Production Group, in collaboration with All Visual Productions y Lightworks Interactive. The challenge was important, since the stage had a significant number of LED surfaces that had to deliver fault-free live performance.

In the words of the CEO and founder of Jupiter, Richie Arvidson: “Since the broadcast wanted to show Times Square, there was no traditional LED backdrop. instead, there were four LED cubes surrounding the columns, an LED railing and an LED dance floor integrated into the stage. Brand-specific content played for performances by Ryan Seacrest and his artists. Then there was content for each artist, in addition to an IMAG global broadcast signal of the event that was displayed on the outer edges of the cubes”. The content was managed by the multimedia playback technicians in situ, who worked in advance with the artists' production teams to develop and shape the visual elements of the show.

The choice of Aquilon RS4 for such a critical broadcast was due to the “ease of use and stability” of the system, explains Arvidson. “I knew the RS4 had enough outputs, layers and processing power, so there was nothing to worry about. I didn't have to preprogram anything.; once at the venue, I was able to get the system up and running quickly and manage any unforeseen events that arose. In a very short time it was already operational in a production caravan located around the corner from the main stage”.

He RS4 was at height of the circumstances. According to the person in charge of Jupiter, “It worked perfectly and made my life easier by eliminating any source of stress I may have had”. “Analog Way was very excited for me to do this program and has been wonderful and responsive.
