Sony turns its Bravia screens into native digital signage hubs with Playipp

Sony y Playipp reach agreement to simplify the implementation and management of digital signage on Bravia monitors, making it easier for users to create and manage content (CMS) with a “fluid and easy-to-use” ecosystem for companies.

The solution deploys the software Playipp directly on Sony Bravia professional displays thanks to its system-on-chip (SoC) integrated. This integration eliminates the need for hardware as external media players or complicated wiring, which speeds up the configuration process and reduces the overall complexity of installations and use of digital signage.

The collaboration between Playipp and Sony also emphasizes the sustainability. By using Sony's low-power displays and SoC instead of an external player, Companies can significantly reduce their carbon footprint without giving up high-quality visual communication.
