The Spanish technology multinational Indra has awarded RPG, Company that provides integral audiovisual and technological interior design solutions, the installation of the visualization system of the command and control post room of the Malaga Metro.

Metro de Málaga has completed its move to the new offices located in the workshop and garage building of Los Asperones, which houses the central command and control post and corporate headquarters of the company. The building has a constructed area of approximately 2.000 square meters that are divided into two floors. This building is responsible for housing the room of the command and control post, which is the basic point of management of the entire metro network, and the bulk of offices with administrative use, financial and operating.

The command and control post room is especially important as it is the place from which all infrastructure-related activities are controlled., and from where the operators will manage the rail traffic of the Malaga metropolitan route. For this reason, Indra has trusted in RPG for the supply and installation of this ambitious display system consisting of a large DLP videowall equipped with the new LED technology of last generation of planar.

From this center the lines will be controlled 1 and 2 of the Malaga Metro which have a total length of 14 Kilometers, including the common section between Renfe and La Malagueta, and shall consist of 20 Stations. Its route runs through the most densely populated area of Malaga (District of the Carretera de Cádiz and Cruz del Humilladero); The city center (where the María Zambrano railway station is located), and the area of new facilities and services of metropolitan interest (University, Clinical Hospital and City of Justice).
