Sixty years after hosting six World Cup matches in 1950, the Paulo Machado de Carvalho Municipal Stadium, popularly known as Pacaembu, from Sao Paulo in Brazil is in the news again by inaugurating the Football Museum, designed without altering this historic environment. In this new space that has 17 halls and traces the history of the beautiful sport in Brazil, from its beginnings as a hobby to its current status as a true multi-million dollar industry, the Swedish Dataton has played a decisive role. In this installation, video and image play a determining role as a common thread.. It has 117 screens of between 15 y 60 inches, 55 projectors from among 2000 y 15.000 lumens implemented by the Brazilian company KJPLK Arbyte as integrator. for the project, have been used 9.000 meters of video and data cable. In the project developed by Peter Lindquist, the KJPL, together with his colleague Bernardo Nicola, they have translated a creative vision into a technical reality, admitting that the technical challenges and scope of the project have been enormous.. The control of the thousands of images that appear on both screens and projectors are controlled by the Dataton Watchout system.. The system allows centralized management of signals, with the possibility of reprogramming any part of the museum from the same control and controlling the quality of the signal sent from any location. Emn total have been installed 104 Watchout stations that interact with the museum's own Medialon administrator, thus making the most of all the possibilities of the version 4 the Watchout.
