Panasonic Professional Visual Displays Europe (PVDE) has announced at InfoComm the launch of its line of large format Full HD 3D professional plasma screens. The range includes the largest model in the world, of 152 inches, and the 103” and 85” models. The company will begin accepting orders for the 152” plasma in Europe starting this summer, starting supply at the beginning of 2011. Panasonic has extensive experience in large format 2D professional devices. The company launched the 103” Full HD model in 2006 and the 85” model in 2009, and both have been widely received around the world for responding to needs such as dynamic advertising and corporate presentations.. This popularity has allowed Panasonic to have the largest market share in professional flat panels in its last fiscal year (finished in March 2010). To develop these new professional models, Panasonic has promoted its exclusive Full HD 3D technologies, offering the industry's highest native contrast ratio, 5.000.000:1, allowing the reproduction of pure blacks, as well as very low response times, which results in the highest dynamic resolution on the market. Besides, interference reduction technology ( crosstalk ) It is a key requirement for the production of clear and sharp 3D images. Full HD 3D series technology allows for clear and detailed 3D images even on large format panels. Professional quality engine The new “pro-grade engine” consists of a 30 bits, managing to reproduce twice as many colors compared to 2D models. These advances enable the world's first range of large-format Full HD 3D plasma devices to reproduce high-quality 3D images and create a life-like experience that allows the viewer to feel part of the scene.. The 152” screen can even project life-size images of people. The models are equipped with Panasonic's own function slot, ‘SLOT2.0’, allowing the connection of multiple optional boards, such as DVI or HD-SDI , allowing its integration into any professional system.
