The NASA Kennedy Space Complex Visitor Center in the United States has just inaugurated a space in which a large audiovisual display is combined with interactive and new media installations. Based on a concept designed by BRC Imagination in collaboration with the Kennedy Space Center and Delaware North Co. Parks&Resorts, This installation includes large-scale digital projections and interactive experiences that invite visitors to be part of the future of space exploration.. The installation of the different audiovisual systems was carried out by Electrosonic, including a large rear projection surface, several flat LCD screens and five trapezoidal screens immerse visitors in the future of space travel. Six other screens of various shapes and sizes, including four trapezoidal screens, completes the installation titled Explorers Wanted. The entire exhibition and show is driven by a Medialon Manager control system with content served by ten Watchout players powering nine projectors and one monitor. Electrosonic took advantage of the Watchout's inherent programming to ensure that seven of the projectors could display content on the nine trapezoidal screens seamlessly.. They also created a custom user interface for Warchout's PC-based master controller so staff could add updated content at any time..
