JCDecaux installs new digital media at Palma de Mallorca airport
Palma de Mallorca airport has launched two 7-inch video walls×1,7 meters and 10 70” Full HD mupis in the arrivals and boarding area, respectively, from the hand of JCDecaux.
Palma de Mallorca airport, third national airport by number of passengers in Spain in 2010 with more than 22 million passengers, has new digital media installed by the group JCDecaux.
JCDecaux has installed two 7-inch video walls at the Balearic airport×1,7 meters each, located on the two arrival ramps where passengers on both national and international flights travel. This strategic location guarantees a 100% coverage in terms of arrival passengers.
These two video walls are accompanied by the installation of 10 70” Full HD digital mupis in vertical format located in the two access halls to the airport, five on each side, as they are located at Barcelona airport, where JCDecaux has 22 70” digital screens, in what was a pioneering initiative at the national level.
Jean-Sébastien Decaux, CEO of JCDecaux for Europe and Benelux, has stated: “JCDecaux continues to invest in quality solutions and in a very selective way”. only in 2011, JCDecaux has inaugurated new digital circuits in the Barcelona Metro, con 50 supports, at the Marineda City Shopping Center, con 18 supports, and now the 12 supports at Palma de Mallorca airport.
