Infortrend has presented its new EonNAS solutions 5000, thereby offering unified storage solutions that enable businesses to address, effectively, to file- and block-based applications. Besides, Infortrend has also unveiled the new connectivity options in the EonNAS series 3000.

After the EonNAS series 3000 – designed for SMEs, remote branches and company departments – and the EonNAS Pro and 1000 – to meet the needs of SME and SOHO users, the EonNAS series 5000 is the latest addition to the growing EonNAS family of Infortrend. Providing excellent scalability, Optimized resource utilization and strong data protection, These solutions enable users to meet a wide variety of application requirements and easy business growth..

The EonNAS solution 5120 now available in EonNAS series 5000, It has quad-core Intel Xeon processors and up to 24GB of cache memory, and offers 1GbE connectivity options, 10Fiber Channel GbE (FC) in different configurations. Through storage capacity enclosures, the solution can support up to 96 disk drives.

EonNAS5000 series block-based data deduplication technology ensures that duplicate data is eliminated, helping users achieve storage space savings of up to 90 percent, and therefore, greatly to optimize the use of resources and reduce costs. Provisioning further contributes to optimizing utilization.

EonNAS series 500 also offers strong data protection. Integrated ZFS file system provides end-to-end data integrity through a hierarchical error detection mechanism, which eliminates data corruption that is not detected in other file systems. Snapshot and replication features help users efficiently create copies of data to protect against potential threats, while RAID technology adds another level of protection.
