Home Automation Engineering has implemented an avant-garde and innovative access control system to the rooms and suites of the Hotel Villa de San Adrián composed of electronic locks and based on non-wired 'Off-Line' electronic shields. Thanks to this system, once inside the room of this Navarrese hotel, Interior access control card holders provide information to a home automation system based on the KNX standard, which activates or deactivates the lighting circuits and sockets of the rooms depending on their occupancy. The system is prepared so that in the future all the elements integrated in the system can be managed remotely through interfaces such as touch screens., computers, ipad tablets, etc.
Other functionalities of this new system include climate control in rooms, limiting the client's ability to maneuver. (For example, The system can be programmed so that the set room temperature oscillates between 20 y 23º, even if the client requests 27º); cut off air conditioning in rooms if windows are open; integration of piped music into the home automation system; lighting control by presence in hallways and stairs, regulating the luminaires in intensity (For example, when there is no one they get to a 10% and when there is someone they light up 80%); climate control in common areas; exterior lighting control; alarm monitoring (breakdown of electrical circuits, flood alarms, various device alarms, etc.); and time schedules or scenarios that combine several actions with a single order.
