Logitech Alert 750N adds wide-angle night vision for improved video surveillance
Logitech has announced the launch of its Alert 750n Indoor Master System, a device with night vision and wide angle lens (130º) which provides a better view of the scene, offering a range of up to 15 metros.
For those who want to monitor their home or business remotely without having to worry about monthly fees or complicated installations., Logitech has launched a video security system that anyone can easily install. The new Logitech Alert 750n Indoor Master System allows you to use the home's electrical network to connect the system's cameras and control everything from a program without the need to use network cables.
The Logitech Alert 750n Indoor Master System consists of an indoor camera with its power supply, plus the mains adapter to electrical current, cables Ethernet, an SD card and control software. The camera has a wide angle lens 130 opening degrees, It is delivered with its corresponding mounting kit to be able to install it and, plus video, I could also record audio thanks to its integrated microphone. The system can handle up to 16 possible detection areas, and can be expanded with more indoor or outdoor cameras.
The camera included in the Alert 750n allows you to distinguish objects or people even without light, thanks to its night vision function. This feature is very appropriate in a system of these characteristics, since the vast majority of robberies or break-ins are carried out at night. The system activates video recording automatically when the camera detects any movement in its range thanks to the built-in sensor, and send alert messages to a mobile phone or email.
To make the installation of the Alert 750n Indoor Master System as easy as possible, Logitech has used HomePlug Powerline technology. This system allows the connection of the camera to the control system through the electrical network, by using a special adapter. All you have to do is install the Logitech Alert software, place the camera, plug it into a power outlet, and connect the network adapter to the router.
The Logitech Alert 750n Indoor Master System is controlled using the included Alert Commander software, which can be installed on any computer with Windows XP, Windows Vista o Windows 7. The program can control a maximum number of six cameras, and allows access to images from the Internet to control the security of the house remotely. You can also set it to send alerts via text messages or emails. Besides, The system creates a backup copy of all the images to be able to recover the videos or manage them as we want.
