QNAP TS-X69 and TS-X79 series devices now support VMware vSphere 5

QNAP Systems, company that designs and offers network storage solutions (NAS) high quality, has announced that its TS-x69 Turbo NAS series / TS-x79 are now officially certified VMware Ready for ESXi 5 with vSphere support 4 y vSphere 5.

QNAP Systems has announced that all models of its high-performance TS-x69 and TS-x79 series of Turbo NAS are now officially certified VMware Ready for ESXi 5, with vSphere support 4 y vSphere 5, providing high performance, Greater flexibility in storage management and easy site recovery.

The new Storage Distributed Resource Scheduler technology (SDRS) which incorporates VMware vSphere 5, can automatically balance the load and capacity of virtual machines between storage devices, improving efficiency and avoiding bottlenecks in storage resources. Besides, Turbo NAS TS-x69 and TS-x79 series now support vCenter Site Recovery Manager (SRM), offering users a fully automated method of site migration and recovery.
