Crown Audio incorporates the VRack 4x3500HD multichannel amplification system

Crown Audio, Harman group company, has expanded its VRack amplifier management solutions with the addition of the 4x3500HD system, Designed to provide a versatile multi-channel solution for travel applications, rental and sound installed, incorporating three Crown I-Tech 4x3500HD DriveCore series amplifiers in a single plug-and-play chassis.

Crown Audio has announced that it has added to its VRack amplifier management solutions with the introduction of the VRack 4x3500HD. The new version incorporates three amplifiers 4 I-Tech 4x3500HD DriveCore Series channels in a single plug-and-play rack, providing a versatile turnkey multi-channel solution for travel applications, rental and sound installed.

Designed to work hand in hand with JBL VTX and Vertec series models with support provided for JBL VRX and STX models, The VRack 4x3500HD includes three integrated Crown I-Tech 4x3500HD DriveCore series amplifiers, analog and digital connections and a universal power distribution system that can be adjusted to meet US and international standards. All components are housed in a wheeled frame with a suspension system that allows it to be hung in the same way as a line array speaker system.. Multiple VRacks can be connected together for integrated operation in larger systems.

Wide range of inputs

The I-Tech 4x3500HD amplifiers feature a front panel LCD touch screen of 4,3 inches providing amplifier monitoring and access to key functions with color-matched visuals. Each amplifier offers an extensive complement of inputs and outputs, including four analog inputs, four AES3 digital inputs and four AES inputs over VDrive and the ability to select four CobraNet inputs. Amplifiers also include SpeakON or banana plug speaker connectors.

The VRack 4x3500HD uses the Harman HiQnet System Architect control function 3.2 and support predefined Version 5 DSP for the new VTX Series V25 line speakers plus the Vertec series from JBL Professional. System Architect provides control by monitoring and tuning on a rack-by-rack basis and the ability to make changes to all three amplifiers in the VRack through a single interface. The VRack 4x3500HD is also compatible with JBL HiQnet Performance Manager sound reinforcement system design software for improved control and monitoring capabilities..

I-Tech 4x3500HD amplifiers supply 1.900 watts per channel at eight ohms, 2400 watts per channel into four ohms and 4.200 watts into four ohms. The amplifiers provide extensive DSP sound tailoring capability and incorporate Crown's linear phase FIR and IIR filters to provide optimized speaker crossover points with improved midrange clarity and off-axis response..
