The video conferencing solutions provider, AVer Information, and Vidtel, cloud video conferencing service provider that automatically connects all client sites to each other, have announced that AVer's VC room terminals and Vidtel's MeetMe video conferencing service offer SMB customers affordable solutions that are easy to purchase, use and maintain.

AVer y Vidtel have communicated the completion of interoperability tests between their products and a commercial partnership to sell the MeetMe cloud services of the Californian firm through the resale channel of the Taiwanese company. For less than 10% of the cost of internally owned infrastructure, Vidtel's MeetMe service frees customers from the expense and challenge of having the equipment traditionally needed for multi-party video conferencing in-house. Vidtel's approach allows its customers to connect standardized H.323 and SIP systems, as well as Skype and Google Talk users, without setbacks. With Vidtel's MeetMe solution, now AVer customers can use a cloud service, hassle free, to connect video conference rooms with other systems, video phones, mobile and desktop platforms, to facilitate collaboration and enjoy high-quality video communication.

AVer offers two solutions for high definition rooms that include a PTZ camera, codec, microphones and remote control. The HVC110 is a simple HD terminal, and the HVC310 adds an integrated four-way MCU and board recording. These solutions, in combination with affordable multi-party cloud-based services offered by Vidtel, make versatile, high-quality video conferencing a reality for small and medium-sized businesses.

Karl Dahlin, Vice President of Sales and Business Development at AVer Information, has commented: “AVer room video conferencing systems are the perfect complement to the cloud service that Vidtel offers to SMB customers. By combining HD room systems with cloud-based infrastructure, desktop and mobile support for customers at these prices, small and medium-sized businesses can finally access video conferencing”.

While, the CEO of Vidtel, Scott Wharton, has pointed: “At Vidtel we are 100% focused on providing our cloud-based services to customers, through resellers and technology partners who are innovators and thought leaders, as AVer. Our cloud service at market-disrupting prices is an ideal complement to the HD video conferencing terminals that AVer offers at competitive prices, and they will expand the market for high-quality video conferencing to companies of all sizes.”
