Serrat and Sabina turn to MAC Aura on their 'Two birds counterattack' tour’
‘Two birds fight back‘, the second tour that the Spanish singer-songwriters Joan Manuel Serrat and Joaquín Sabina are doing together to present their new album titled ‘The Titanic Orchestra‘, is employing 34 MAC Aura LED moving head wash projectors supplied by sound and lighting rental company MFO Producciones.
Lighting designer Oscar Gallardo has opted for a MAC Aura lighting platform from Martin Professional low consumption and that saves costs for the new tour of Joan Manuel Serrat and Joaquín Sabina. After the spectacular success of his first tour ‘Two birds with one stone‘, Serrat and Sabina have launched their second tour ‘Two birds fight back‘, that will tour Spain and Latin America this summer and next fall.
Oscar Gallardo is one of the most relevant illuminators on the Spanish scene, and has illuminated the Serrat and Sabina shows for years, as well as other top-level artists such as David Bisbal, Luz Casal, Alleged Involved, Rosana and many more.
Proven power
At the Serrat and Sabina show, this prestigious lighting designer uses 34 compact wash-type moving head projectors and MAC Aura LED technology, an element that was chosen for its power and brightness, as well as cost and energy savings.
Gallardo has explained that “the decision was difficult, since the stage is quite big, but after the first test with the MAC Aura there was no doubt, was the product for this tour. Effective color transmission and control, the surprising power, the great speed of movement with remarkable precision. After the first performance, everyone loved Aura”.
MAC Aura offers striking effects “aura” in addition to the functions it is capable of thanks to its wash type lens and its fully premixed colors. Weight and cost savings
