NEC Display Solutions has added the new X401S display to its catalog of super-thin products. 40 inches and LED backlight technology, X401S-AVT digital signage solution packages, X461S-AVT, X551S-AVT, X401S-PC, X461S-PC y X551S-PC, and the new ATSC SB integrated digital tuning module-03TM.

NEC Display Solutions has announced the incorporation of the X401S display from 40 inches to its Super-Slim category within the X Series product line. The LED backlight technology offered in the super-thin products allows for a lightweight design with a minimum depth of 1,7 inches, providing flexibility for a variety of installations including those requiring ADA compliance. High reliability panel allows operation 24/7 with advanced thermal protection, internal fans and a closed panel design to accommodate the most demanding needs of the digital signage industry.

Along with the X461S models of 46 inches and X551S of 55 inches, the new X401S includes an Open Pluggable Specification slot (OPS) from Intel, an industry-wide standardization designed to simplify installation, the use and maintenance of digital signage. Users receive full connectivity, including DisplayPort, HDMI y DVI-D, as well as remote management through Network Control and communication tools. Ethernet connectivity provides email notifications to administrator, while RS-232 connectivity enables multi-display control and daisy-chaining capability to simplify display management.

Each package includes an NEC X Series ultra-thin display and an OPS-PCAF-WS computer that integrate seamlessly using the display expansion slot. This built-in functionality allows for clean, hidden integration, while reducing the list of materials needed for installation.
