JVC Professional has launched the TK-C2301WPRU vandal-proof analog dome camera and the TK-C8301RU analog box camera with integrated lens., both optimized for Day/Night entrance surveillance. The new cameras feature integrated infrared LEDs that have been specifically optimized to illuminate a wide area at night and expose detailed objects at close range without white reflection..

Masafumi Nakano, vice president of JVC Security Division, has commented that “cameras placed on doors, in loading docks, or in access doors must perform at their maximum over short distances. Our two new cameras are designed to deliver enhanced high-quality images during the day and at night at close range.”

Both analog cameras provide 600 TV lines of resolution with a CCD IT camera of 1/3 inches, a new digital signal processor 14 bits for high quality images and an S/N ratio of 52dB. With Super LoLux technology and IR Clear LEDs 5 metros, cameras provide accurate color reproduction, even with virtual zero illumination. Besides, ExDR technology (extended wide dynamic range) JVC Plus automatically produces sharper images for bright and dark areas.

JVC Fine Focus adjustment technology allows for more precise focus adjustment, while a new “area” White balance can apply automatic white balance to a specific part of the image. Additional features include automatic gain control and electronic shutter, black automatic adjustment, 3D noise reduction, four area models for backlight compensation, motion detection, privacy mask, and 2x digital zoom. The IP66-compliant TK-C2301WPRU also offers triple-axis rotation for flexible lens angle adjustment.
