CBS Outdoor Ireland has carried out an interactive out-of-home campaign on digital advertising screens -dPods- which is installed in the Dundrum Town Center in Dublin to launch the new Renault Clio, inviting passers-by to place their photo on the cover of a magazine that appeared on these devices.

The Irish subsidiary of the outdoor advertising company CBS Outdoor has teamed up with Renault Ireland to launch the new Renault Clio through an interactive out-of-home campaign (OOH) with a peculiar feature. The interactive campaign has been developed using dPods, the digital advertising screens that CBS Outdoor owns in the Dundrum Town Center shopping center in Dublin. The Renault ‘Kisscam’ invited visitors to Dundrum Town Center to put their photo on the cover of Renault Clio magazine displayed on dPods. More than 200 people placed their uploaded photo in these digital advertising mupis.

The campaign was supported by out-of-home digital ads from 10 seconds on the digital signage network that CBS Outdoor Ireland has in the Dublin shopping center, that attracts more than 19 million visitors each year with a weekly average of 375.000 personas.

Eilis Fitzgerald, Renault Ireland advertising director, has pointed out: “This is a great way to show off the new Clio, engaging the consumer and interacting with our customers in a fun and entertaining way. Kisscam has shown us how powerful interactive outdoor advertising can be”.

The Renault Clio interactive campaign shows that this research project comes to life”.
