Sharp prepares the launch of an LCD screen for digital signage 90 inches
Sharp plans to launch on the market in early 2013 an LCD screen 90 inches -model PN-R903- with the same characteristics as the Aquos HDTV television from the Japanese company but focused on the digital signage sector.
Sharp, one of the few screen manufacturers with LCD monitors of 90 inches -model Aquos LED LCD HDTV-, plans to launch a new digital signage display with the same dimensions. The new model, PN-R903, It is specifically designed to be used in commercial spaces as a digital advertising screen and has a Full HD 1080p resolution., a shine of 700 cd/m2 and an LED backlight controller to adjust the brightness based on the content and ambient light where you are.
El Sharp PN-R903 mide 2.055 × 122 × 1.197 mm, has a weight of 75 kgs and includes all ports, popular interfaces and connectivities. The monitor can display life-size human models if placed upright. Providing views of scale models 1:1 could be very advantageous for both retailers and consumers themselves.
Size does matter
The product will go on the market on 28 January 2013, and Sharp also plans to launch two other slightly smaller digital signage screens: a model of 60 inches (PN-R603) which will also be available 28 January, and the version of 70 inches (PN-R703) available from 25 February.
