Interoute acquires Danish IT company Comendo Network A/S
Pan-European telecommunications operator Interoute has announced an agreement to acquire Comendo Network A/S, the data and video division of the Danish IT company Comendo A/S, which will allow the videoconferencing service provider to strengthen its positioning in the Nordic countries.
Interoute has acquired Comendo Network, a subsidiary of Danish IT company Comendo A/S that provides communications solutions over the national broadband network. This acquisition reinforces Interoute's positioning in the Nordic market for international communications and network services., and doubles Interoute's revenue, as the number of employees in Denmark.
The company's customers and employees will be integrated into Interoute, y Jesper Aagaard, CEO of Coming Network, will take over as CEO of Interoute Denmark. Comendo A/S has been a partner of Interoute in Denmark for many years and both companies have jointly supported their clients.. Interoute will get all the featured clients of Comendo Network, including DSB, Saxo Bank y DONG Energy.
