Honeywell Security has added the new HDZ PTZ dome series to its IP camera catalog, high definition and with real day/night function, offering 1080p resolution (1920 x 1080) at full frame rate, a 360° continuous rotation function and a zoom lens, and that also complies with ONVIF standards that allow interoperability between network video products.

Honeywell has announced the first products of its new range of PTZ domes with ONVIF protocol. Designed to guarantee interoperability with any networked security product under the ONVIF specification, These 1080p models will allow installers and end users to design and build network video systems with devices from any manufacturer. For greater peace of mind, Indoor and outdoor pendant cameras also capture video to a Secure Digital High-Capacity micro memory card (SDHC) y, thus, Local recording is available in case of network failure.

Equipped with a rotation function 360 degrees and a zoom lens, The cameras offer exceptional image quality and are ideal for environments requiring detailed surveillance, like cities, roads, airports, government facilities, schools, campuses and industrial plants. They can capture images of up to two million pixels with 20x optical zoom capabilities, so that they provide the level of sharpness and detail necessary for accurate identification.

Cutting-edge technology

The HDZ range of PTZ domes are highly versatile and have been developed to deliver high-quality performance in complex environments.. All models are equipped with expanded dynamic range technology to adjust to environments with changing light conditions and large backlights.. Besides, offers reliable operation in extreme weather conditions. The outdoor model supports a temperature range of -45 °C a +55 °C and is protected from dust and rain by an IP66-rated housing that features tamper-proof fixings and a vandal-resistant polycarbonate bubble.

A simple and safe installation is a fundamental aspect in the design of these products.. Numerous mounting options allow the installer to adapt to the specific needs of the end user. In order to provide greater flexibility in the installation, Cameras also include a bracket accessory for ceiling mounting.

Mark Openshaw, EMEA Product Manager at Honeywell Security Group, has commented: “When designing the HDZ range, We focus on providing flexibility in installation and operation, plus interoperability with IP-based products from other manufacturers, without compromising exceptional image quality. The result is a range that is easy to install, capable of protecting people and assets in a wide variety of different environments”.

The HDZ user interface is available in eleven languages.
