AsureSpace touch panels, integrated with AsureSpace Meeting Room Manager solutions, Resource Scheduler y Workspace Manager, his tablets 8 inches integrated within a wall-mountable structure and feature an LED light bar to easily indicate if a room is available. John Anderson, executive vice president of AsureSpace, has pointed out that “These next-generation panels are focused on user convenience. They can be mounted, fed, Easily configured and used, offering customers first-class digital signage at an affordable price”.

Since the panels are powered over Ethernet - meaning only one low voltage cable provides both network connectivity and power to the units- no need for electrical outlets. This is especially convenient since the panels are designed to be placed directly in front of the entrance to a room.. VESA mounts (Video Electronics Standards Association) standard make them easy to install on walls. Besides, a single panel can serve two different rooms whose entrances are located close to each other.

AsureSpace touch panels simplify ad hoc bookings. Users can view availability and make room reservations directly on the touch screen, or they can choose to use their desktop or mobile device to access the scheduling app. A two-way integration with AsureSpace Meeting Room Manager solutions, Resource Scheduler and Workspace Manager eliminates potential duplication of reservations. Any free time, even at times during the day itself, can be reserved. When users arrive at a room, a simple glance at the red light (busy) the green (libre) answer the question: “Is this room available?”
