Multitouch

The Finnish company MultiTouch, specialized in multi-touch solutions, will be present at the tenth edition of ISE at the RAI in Amsterdam (pavilion 11, stand N53) with a wide sample of its display solutions. So, The firm will showcase the world's first and only ultra-thin bezel multi-touch display highlighting the unique features of MultiTaction technology. The pixel-to-pixel gap is reduced to less than 6 mm, making stacked configurations with as little bevel intrusion as possible. It consists of six UTB MultiTaction screens 55 inches running a custom MultiTaction Experience application, including MultiTouch simultaneous touch, the IR pen and object recognition, tracking more than 200 fps and rich reality.

Based on Computer Vision Through Screen technology (CVTS) de MultiTouch, Rich reality uses 2D optical markers for real-life object detection to identify any object. Besides, Rich reality supports droplet tracking that recognizes all basic geometric shapes like circles, triangles and rectangles. A large interactive video wall will show interesting content and the challenge is how to identify and capture a user in this scenario. The solution involves issuing users with a license plate that includes a personalized marker for them. Users can tag any content they like and the information is sent to the email address registered in the bookmark.

The first large-format touch screen with Windows will also be on display 8 integrated. This addition to the MultiTouch portfolio means that the same applications that can be run on smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktop PCs, can now be run on MultiTaction displays 55 y 42 inches with Windows touch drivers 8 natives, including simultaneous support for touch technology and IR pen, as well as finger orientation information.

MultitouchHybrid tracking

Another of MultiTouch's world firsts in Amsterdam will be Hybrid Tracking (hybrid tracking). Unique in the optical touch screen market, Hybrid Tracking makes MultiTaction cells immune to external light conditions. By addressing problems caused by ambient lighting, MultiTouch has opened a new world of possibilities for interactive displays in public spaces.
