LenovoEMC's new high-performance NVRs incorporate Milestone's Arcus multi-platform video management software for installations of fewer than twenty IP video surveillance cameras.

LenovoEMC PX4-300DThe multinational LenovoEMC has been the first in the sector to include in its new line of high-performance customized NVRs, the new video management software (VMS) cross-platform Milestone Arch.

The new NVRs feature expanded video surveillance features to deliver superior performance for capturing, share and store digital network video surveillance files, Suitable for installations that already have a video network based on network storage.

Iomega PX2-300DThe range includes three models: NVR px2-300d, of two LenovoEMC disk drives with Milestone Arcus, 4 TB of storage and licenses for the same number of cameras; and two versions of the new px4-300d NVR, quad drive with Arcus, one with 4 TB and licenses for eight cameras, and another with 8 TB and licenses for sixteen devices.

Eric Arcese, President and CEO of LenovoEMC, points out that the new range “provides a complete digital video system that is superior in terms of reliability, image quality, ease of installation and economy, in addition to having the versatility to take care of all the network storage needs of an organization”.

Milestone ArcAmong the outstanding features of these new NVRs is the automated system configuration, its compatibility with analog cameras with the addition of a sixteen-channel PCIe card accessory while migrating to IP, as well as with Wide IP type devices and NAS functionality.

Regarding video recording, EMCLenovo system offers motion detection, live or delayed viewing for mobile applications with iOS and Android systems, as well as alert notifications, among others.

LenovoEMC plans to offer VMS Milestone Arcus as a downloadable application next May for existing users of the brand's high-performance px series network storage devices Iomega that use the LifeLine operating system 4.0 by LenovoEMC. Each NVR model ships with a one-year software upgrade plan, which allows users to receive the latest updates and versions of Milestone.
