The recently inaugurated AVE Madrid-Alicante has in its stations the comprehensive traveler information communication solution Deneva, developed by the Spanish company Icon Multimedia.

The Palencia company Icon Multimedia has installed its comprehensive communication solution in the AVE stations of Villena and Alicante, on the new high-speed line that connects Madrid with the latter city, inaugurated on 17 June by the Prince of Asturias and the President of the Government, among other authorities.

AVE AlicanteAdif, railway infrastructure manager, has once again trusted Icon Multimedia's traveler information solution, installed in other stations on the high-speed network.

The deployed Deneva system allows the presentation of information in real time on large TFT monitors, remote track indicators and LED technology information panels in the station hall.

The screens show information to the traveler about schedules, routes or incidents of circulations that provide service at the stations, as well as real-time warnings, High-quality video and digital public address system in six languages.

The AVE will connect Alicante and Madrid in a time of 2 hours and 20 minutes, with intermediate stops in Villena, Cuenca and Albacete, stations that already had the ICON Multimedia traveler information solution. The high-speed line will have nine daily frequencies in each direction and a tenth on Fridays.

This connection, which is part of the high-speed line Madrid-Castilla-La Mancha-Valencian Community and Region of Murcia, which has involved an investment of 1.920 million euros and is partly included in the Mediterranean Corridor.
