RIU Hotels & Resorts transforms the communications infrastructure of its CPD with Alcatel-Lucent

The Spanish hotel chain RIU Hotels & Resorts has entrusted the communications infrastructure of its data center to Alcatel-Lucent solutions, integrated by your Premium business partner, bcSistemas.

The new communications network implemented in the Riu Hotels data center & Resorts builds on Alcatel-Lucent's OmniSwitch 10K solution, with which the hotel chain's IT services have also been improved to offer applications and services to employees and clients with greater guarantees of security and availability.

This hotel chain has completed a virtualization process of all its services, with improvements in your data center, such as the use of storage over IP, linked to high availability and management, virtual machine management and performance. The transformation of its communications infrastructure will also facilitate the management of RIU Hotels' business & Resorts, composed of 107 establishments distributed in sixteen European countries, Africa and America.
