Nokia JobLens uses augmented reality to search for jobs
JobLens is the app that Nokia has developed, using augmented reality, to help its Lumia terminal users locate the best job offers.
The Finnish company Nokia has developed the JobLens app so that users of Lumia mobile terminals can find the best job offers. Augmented reality, Geolocation and social networks are the pillars of this tool.
Making use of geolocation, JobLens helps locate people on the social network who can put you in contact with the human resources department of the company offering the job and locate their address to facilitate the best route to get to the interview. In addition, This app also allows you to create and send the resume to the companies you want.
In this application, Nokia has used LiveSight augmented reality technology, present in the Here maps of the Finnish manufacturer, and relies on companies like Linkedin, Indeed, Zillow and Salary for more complete information. And if you want to optimize this experience, the user can connect to Facebook, Windows Live o Twitter.
This tool has not yet reached Europe. At the moment, It is only available in the United States and Canada.
