Gefen Toolbox 01:08 HDMI splitter with 4K and 2K support for eight displays

Digital connectivity solutions provider Gefen has developed a new extender that distributes high definition (Hi-Def) input to eight Hi-Def outputs using HDMI with 4K x 2K ultra HD support.

Gefen Toolbox 01:08 4Kx2K HDMI Splitter distributes one high definition AV source to eight ultra HD displays simultaneously without loss of quality or resolution. This system works with any high definition source and supports resolutions up to 3,840×2.160 a 30Hz (4K x 2K) y 1.080p full HD.

This extender integrates Fast Switching technology (fast switching) and supports HDCP, Deep Color, 3DTV and lossless audio formats, compatible con LPCM 7.1, Dolby TrueHD and Digital Plus, as well as DTS-HD Master Audio.

Toolbox 01:08 Splitter is an ideal solution for retail establishments, schools, museums, hotels, etc. that have ultra high definition HDCP - compatible with AV content from an HDMI source- and need to display content simultaneously on up to eight Ultra HD displays.

Fast Switching technology (FST) is a Gefen software implementation for HDMI products, This allows you to eliminate the HDMI authentication process and the connection/disconnection or activation/deactivation of HDTV displays without affecting other displays that are in the same distribution system.

Available in black and white, This system features advanced EDID management for rapid integration of sources and displays; It supports the use of DVI sources and displays with HDMI adapter and the firmware can be updated in the field via the Mini-USB port.
