Danone enters virtual advertising to promote its dairy products in the Madrid Metro
The Callao metro station has been turned into a virtual market by the dairy firm Danone to promote its brand. The mobile phone and QR codes have been the elements used for this advertising campaign.
The Madrid Metro once again becomes a platform for different companies to launch their advertising campaigns. Now it's Danone's turn.
The dairy products manufacturer installed a virtual supermarket in Madrid's Callao metro station to promote its dairy products and allow consumers to save on their purchases of the brand up to 20%.
The initiative, which has been made by Havas Media by the hand of JCDecaux, It is part of the promotional campaign called Feed Smiles, that seeks to promote purchases through smartphones and using QR codes.
The campaign tried to attract customers through savings, since in this store consumers benefited from discounts of up to 20% on brand purchases not exceeding forty euros.
Danone products have printed two-dimensional codes that have been used on this occasion to launch this advertising campaign.. The customer only had to bring the mobile phone closer and scan the code on the pack. After this, you go to the website to redeem the coupons and with this you can go to any physical store to make the exchange.
