Axis Communications once again leads the global video surveillance market

The provider of network video solutions Axis Communications has once again positioned itself as a benchmark in the global market for IP and security cameras, as well as in the area of ​​video encoders, according to the latest IHS report.

With a positive fiscal closing of the first half of the year, Axis Communications has received three recognitions in the network camera market, security and, for the first time in the video encoder segment, according to the annual report of IHS published last May, one of the most important in the video surveillance sector.

Net sales in the first half of 2013 they increased by one 9% up to SEK 2,096 m. (around 17,9 million euros), and a 14% in local currency. The operating profit in this period amounts to SEK 216 m, and profits after taxes are in SEK 162 m.
