The Roger Waters Show, The Wall Live, has been on tour for three years offering a spectacular video projection thanks to Panasonic equipment.

Director Richard Turner's acclaimed video montage, created for Roger Waters' The Wall Live tour, legendary member of the group Pink Floyd, has had the projectors of Panasonic and the experience of XL Video for staging.

This production has been hailed as one of the best touring shows. A tour that began in Toronto in 2010 and had his last performance on 21 September at the Stade de France, a sports venue located in Saint-Denis, neighboring municipality north of Paris, and which will continue this autumn in different European countries.

The stage was designed with a background wall, made of cardboard by the TAIT company, who was also in charge of supplying the structure and the engineering. Structure that was demolished and rebuilt at each concert.

Forty Panasonic projectors were needed to stage The Wall Live. 20.000 thousand lumens PT-DZ21KE and PT-DS20KE. These are installed on a standard Leyher platform in the foh.

About show technology, Roger Waters explica “The projections made on this wall that is part of the stage for this tour would have been unthinkable ago. 40 years. Diez switchers Blackmagic ATEM (one channel per screen area) It was used to apply specific effects for lighting and content management, all connected together by a hot-rodded piece of software called Just Macros.

After Effects was used to split the total 15k canvas into 10 individual playback channels. The content is stored in 10 Mac Mini servers (10 Most are used as fully redundant backup ) con 10 AJA IoXT for playback.
