Its extensive facilities for meetings and conferences required a matrix sound system that would respond to any type of requirement and the technology of Yamaha was the chosen solution.

The City Green Court is an eight-story building, located in the Pankrac area of ​​Prague, whose design has been conceived as a geometric volume in dialogue with the nearby context while offering a respected contrast to the surrounding buildings. And it is the first in the Czech Republic to receive Platinum certification for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), an international sustainable building certification system developed by the US Green Building Council.

This building has a conference center 2000 m2 that is used by PwC, its partners and clients. It is also available to be rented for other organizations to hold their events ranging from meetings., training or seminars.

The conference center has 18 rooms, ampliable a 23 by using movable walls. With a complete A/V network, the technical team, which has been designed and installed by the Prague-based company Panter, consists of four DME64N digital mixing systems with two wall-mounted CP4SF control panels, two LS9-32 digital mixing consoles, an eight-channel MLA8 preamplifier, 20 expansion cards with MY-16AT adat interface and a Dugan-MY16 controller card.

“Conference room facilities are designed for a wide range of uses. We needed a versatile matrix sound system that had a large number of inputs, Accommodates multiple source types and many outputs. It also had to be able to route sound from any source or combination of sources to any output.. The DME64N met all these requirements and has the advantage that it does not require additional matrix switchers.”, explains Michal Dolezilek, Audio and Video Manager for PwC at City Green Court.

Yamaha Dugan MY16The two LS9s are permanently installed in two control rooms and are used for large conferences and important webcasts.. The flexibility of the audio system allows it to be routed from any input throughout the conference facility to the consoles and the mix sent to the speakers, online or to facilitate broadcast.

“The system allows any seminar or event to have video or audio reinforcement automatically, without the need for specialized operators. It is very reliable, maintenance free and has excellent sound quality”, concludes Michal.
