Chiclana, in Cadiz, replaces traditional signage with LED screens from the GMG Urban Furniture Group
Chiclana City Council, on the Cadiz coast, has installed five LED screens as digital advertising support for Grupo GMG Mobiliarios Urbanos, awarded for its deployment, conservation and exploitation.
With the aim of adapting to more efficient and innovative communication methods with its citizens, visitors and companies, the Chiclana City Council, located on the coast of Cádiz, has installed the first LED screens in different parts of the city to replace the traditional fixed signs.
This Cádiz town council awarded the installation through a tender, conservation and exploitation of the five LED screens GMG Urban Furniture Group that will be located in the busiest points of Chiclana. At the same time, Traditional advertising posters on city facades have also begun to be removed., as part of the municipal 'beautification' program of Chiclana.
As in the city of Cádiz itself and other towns in its province, The deployment and conservation of the screens will have no cost to the council, since they will be financed with the advertising exploitation that is shown on these digital media, and that the company awarded the project will manage, who pays an annual fee of 815 euros for each of them, as stated by the Chiclana City Council.
The screens will offer institutional information about the city and province of Cádiz, as well as data of interest to citizens and visitors, since Chiclana is one of the main tourist areas in this area, as well as advertisements from companies that want to advertise their services and products.
All content is managed from the GMG Group software, responsible for its updating and commercial exploitation, with the capacity to control them in case of emergency, as well as for real-time television broadcasts if required.
The screens are four meters wide by three meters high, installed on supports of equal height, have been in their first phase of implementation in the squares of Las Bodegas and Andalucía, as well as at the Avenida Solano roundabout in Chiclana.
