The television 77 inches 77EC9800 and the ecological 55EB9600 are the main exponents with which LG goes to CES 2014 to publicize its commitment to OLED Ultra HD technology.

LG Electronics is presenting at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) from las vegas, that opened its doors today, a wide range of OLED televisions, among which the largest curved model equipped with this technology stands out, 77EC9800, and different equipment 55 y 65 inches. Also on display is the OLED Gallery and the eco-friendly curved model 55EB9600.

Curved OLED TVs 55, 65 y 77 inches combine LG's WRGB technology with 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels). Thus, A new level of quality and immersive viewing is achieved.

The 77EC9800 fills the viewer's entire field of view with a well-contrasted image with maximum resolution. Regarding design, It has an elegant leaf-shaped base. Besides, has been recognized with the Best of Innovations award at the CES awards 2014.

The color temperature of each pixel in the model 77 inches is automatically controlled by the LG Color Refiner, to offer superior consistency and good balance. The infinite contrast ratio offered is controlled with the High Dynamic Range algorithm (HDR) of the company. On the other hand, This TV also offers Ultra Cinema 3D. Thanks to FPR technology and Ultra HD resolution, it is possible to enjoy the most realistic 3D effects, no flickering or interference.

To enrich the offer of high resolution content, The 77EC9800 has been equipped with the Tru-ULTRA HD Engine Pro engine, that allows content to be scaled in standard definition, in HD or Full HD up to a resolution close to 4K. Besides, The processing has an error correction algorithm that avoids blurry images in the enlargement process and guarantees the smoothest results.. The TV also incorporates Motion Estimation Motion Compensation (MEMC), which makes the screen action smoother, clear and realistic.

LG's curved OLED models are capable of playing Ultra HD content, in H.264 and HEVC H.265 format, both at 30p and 60p. A convenient built-in decoder makes it possible to view Ultra HD content through the HDMI ports, USB or LAN.

OLED Gallery

The OLED Gallery hides the Canvas Speaker behind its frame, a speaker 2.2 channels that have their 100 W facing forward, which guarantees an optimal sound experience. The EA8800 has been recognized with the Innovations Award at CES 2014.

The eGallery feature offers a variety of display modes that can be activated to create a specific mood. Gallery mode turns your TV into a frame displaying some of the art world's most famous works, while Healing mode & Remembering helps create a warm and welcoming environment through sounds and images.

Finally, The 55EB9600 is LG's most efficient and ecological curved OLED TV model, as it is built with much more recycled material and many fewer parts than its predecessors. Light and low consumption, has received an Innovations Award for its commitment to ecological consumption and the quality of its finish.

Betting on OLED

In preparation for the growing global demand for OLED TVs, LG is establishing production bases in different countries. The company has already completed the construction of new plants in Brazil, Poland, China and Thailand. In Mexico there is another plant in the final phase of construction and it will begin this year to produce OLED televisions for the North American market.
