YCD Multimedia Unveils Next Generation of Its Flagship C-nario Digital Signage Platform|Suite

An ISE 2014, YCD Multimedia will present the version 3.7 of its C-nario digital signage platform|Suite that includes new implementations for HTML5.

YCD Multimedia will be announced at ISE 2014, which will be celebrated from 4 to February at the RAI in Amsterdam, the next generation of its flagship C-nario digital signage platform|Suite.

C-nary|Suite (C-nario Messenger) is YCD's flagship digital signage platform, a software tool that allows the distribution and management of dynamic and interactive content between different screens, optimizing playback at any size and resolution. The version 3.7 provides powerful tools to further facilitate dialogue between retailers and consumers. Includes functionality improvements, ease of use and performance.

“With the version 3.7, I think we have one of the most powerful HTML5 implementations in a digital signage product. Not only can users display pixel-precise HTML5 content on both the smallest screens and the largest multi-installs, since they can fully exploit our entire framework for their HTML5 applications”, explains Eran Sharon, Vice President of Product Management at YCD Multimedia.
HTML5 offers great opportunities for interactivity and visualization.

HTML5 object offers GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), accelerated playback and pixel-perfect performance across any number of displays (multi-screen) o players (multi-CPU). Besides, provides multi-touch support, an authentication feature for viewing secure content and importing Google Web Designer content.

4K content

C-nary|Continuation of 3.7 also offers support for Windows 8.1, an all-new media processing engine with high-quality H.264 content, multi-megapixel images and native 4K support.

Since version 3.7, C-nario players can be used in screen saver mode. When an interactive input is detected (for example a mouse click or touch), Playback is interrupted immediately giving access to the desktop or any other application (For example, an interactive kiosk, website, etc). Playback resumes after a predefined period of inactivity. Besides, in C-nario's multistream video over IP feature|Suite has been added multichannel video and audio.
