Sony has expanded the S series with nine 3LCD short and ultra short throw projectors, teams that are being presented in WHEREAS 2014 and that come to complete their product offering for the educational sector.

There are four new short-range models that have been integrated into the S series (VPL-SW235, VPL-SW225, VPL-SX235 y VPL-SX225) and they are ultra short range (VPL-SW630, VPL-SW620, VPL-SX630, VPL-SW630C y VPL-SW620C).

Sony VPL-SW630S series offers longer lamp life, raising the 10.000 hours on short range equipment and 6.000 hours in ultra short range; while offering image quality of 2.600 – 3.000 brightness lumens.

Ideal for Sony classrooms and meeting rooms, These devices can project high-resolution images of up to two meters diagonally on a whiteboard., a wall or any other white surface at distances of approximately 44 cm, for ultra short throw ones with XGA, and of 75 cm, for short throw ones with XGA.

These Sony devices include ecological features that reduce the total cost of operation. ECO mode turns off the lamp automatically after 10 minutes without receiving an activity signal, while auto dimming reduces brightness to save energy and extend lamp life.

The VPL-SW630C and VPL-SW620C models include greater interactivity thanks to the dual pen and automatic calibration, as well as complete educational tools that facilitate effective collaboration in the classroom for students and teachers.. All S series models can be connected wirelessly via a PC (Windows o Mac) or a tablet (iOS o Android).

Sony SRX T615With his 4000 WUXGA lumens (1920 x 1200) and BrightEra technology, offers maintenance-free durability of up to 20.000 hours, which is especially important in the corporate and educational sectors, where projectors are used for long periods of time.

With the SRX-T615 projector, presented in IBC 2013, Sony is doing a demonstration showing how this edge-merging device is capable of creating mosaics of high-contrast 4K content from multiple projectors to achieve giant images..

The SRX-T615 offers 4K resolution, plus a great shine, color accuracy, uniformity and contrast, making it ideal for a wide range of challenging applications such as theme parks, museums and other attractions where high performance and versatility are crucial.
