hackathon google glassHow the idea came about

The Google Glass hackathon arose from ideas presented by Intelygenz employees through the open innovation platform Nexinit, that offers companies a service to attract and manage innovation through crowdsourcing, motivating the community through gamification techniques.

Nextinit transforms everyone involved into entrepreneurs, whose ideas have to convince the rest to invest with their virtual currency. Every time an idea moves forward in the process, wise investors and those with brilliant ideas are rewarded with more virtual currency..
