LG begins its Hotel TV 'renovation plan' to modernize the park with some 300.000 Smart TV units
The televisions that LG has developed for hotels offer a wide range of options that increase the added value of the services that the establishment offers to its customers.. LG Hotel TV models, that will soon integrate the webOS system and have the Pro solution:Centric improve the guest experience and also hotel management.
In this sense, the Pro management tool:Centric simplifies the commissioning process and offers convenient control applications. Besides, These LG systems allow you to connect to servers to offer video on demand services, hotel information or a channel guide, among other options.

This company's Hotel TV platform can be adjusted to the needs of each client thanks to a new interface and a commercial edition of Smart Home. Your remote management system (RMS) allows hotel staff to individually control and update each piece of equipment from a single location where the service is centralized.
Another feature that these systems offer is SmartShare., so guests can connect their own devices to their room's TV via MHL, Miracast or WiDi and use them as a second screen. All these solutions for the hotel industry incorporate security systems, such as automatic history deletion function, which gives guests the peace of mind of eliminating, when the tv turns off, all information stored.

The Hotel TV area is one of the areas with the greatest potential for LG's B2B division, where the company has 12.000 customers, who are now offered the possibility of having more interactive systems, with an advantageous value proposition so that hotels can improve their customers' stay and be able to offer them new services from the application itself; custom two-way communication applications, etc. with reduced operating costs.
As Francisco Ramírez advanced to Digital AV Magazine, This 'renewal plan' would involve the "replacement of some 300.000 units, approximately, of televisions that are obsolete by new models Hotel TV with Smart TV and ProCentric technology from LG”.
