TDK-Lambda RWS-B: power supplies for LED signage, broadcast and industrial environments

TDK-Lambda's new RWS-B series AC-DC power supplies offer up to four power levels, of 100 at 600W and a durability of ten years to guarantee maximum reliability in the field.

The Japanese manufacturer of electronic systems TDK Corporation, through his power supply development company TDK-Lambda, The RWS-B series is available, Composed of four models of AC-DC power supplies enclosed single output, with equal number of power levels (100, 150, 300 y 600W).

RWS-B series models operate from a universal input of 85 a 265 Vac (47–63 Hz) to meet the requirements of numerous applications, as a test and measure, broadcast, LED signage, communications, as well as industrial environments.

These new power supplies offer a durability of ten years (and even higher under typical operating conditions) to increase reliability in the field, in addition to having a five-year warranty and supporting international safety standards for global use.

Among other innovations, RWS-B series units feature a gain of 5% in efficiency and a reduction in size to facilitate integration into the system, compared to previous systems, than in the case of the RWS150B-24 model (de 150W) achieves an efficiency of 89%.

Output voltage range, of 5 a 48 Vdc, allows developing currents of up to 100 A. To accommodate non-standard system voltages, The RWS-B series can be adjusted in -10/+15% (and in +10% for models of 48 V), according to user requirements. The new units provide optimal thermal performance to operate in the temperature range of -10 a +70 °C. The RWS100B and RWS150B power supplies are convection cooled, while the RWS300B and RWS600B models incorporate an internal fan.
