Harman acquires AMX to strengthen its professional offering in switching, automation and control
The multinational audio and entertainment company Harman International has signed an agreement with The Duchossois Group and its subsidiaries to acquire AMX LLC for 365 million dollars (267,5 million euros), reinforcing its proposal to the business sector in audio and video distribution, commutation, automation and control.

According to the terms of the agreement, AMX will be integrated into Harman's professional division, together with reference brands such as AKG Acoustics, BSS Audio, Crown amplifiers, DBX, JBL Professional, Lexicon, Soundcraft, Studer y Martin Lighting.
