By offering support for the Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV standard (HbbTV), Brightcove will allow TV networks to combine air broadcasts and Internet content distribution to publish personalized videos and interactive experiences for connected television and set-top box users.

With this support, Brightcove includes support for the common encryption suite in its Video Cloud online video platform (PRICE) and for digital rights management and licensing services (DRM) of Microsoft PlayReady y Martin, as well as for multi-bitrate MPEG-DASH encoding.
