WizeFloor and Panasonic projectors help hospitalized children recover faster
The Hans Christian Andersen Children's University Hospital has been the first healthcare center in Denmark to install the WizeFloor interactive solution, in combination with Panasonic projectors, to optimize patient recovery. A tool that stimulates children both physically and mentally through play.
The combination of WizeFloor and projectors Panasonic provide an environment where the game merges, movement and learning, key elements that are being used by schools, Danish hospitals and nurseries to encourage the development of children's social and motor skills.
In healthcare facilities, these technologies allow patients to recover more quickly and encourage them to get out of their beds.. This is the case of the Hans Christian Andersen Children's University Hospital, which has been the first institution in Denmark to install WizeFloor.
“Cuando los niños son hospitalizados pasan mucho tiempo en sus camas y esta no siempre es la mejor manera de recuperarse. Desde que se ha instalado esta ‘alfombra interactiva’, the little ones leave their rooms, It motivates them to get out of their beds.”, comments Arne Host, Head of Hans del Christian Andersen Children.
This solution has also been installed in the classroom of the Odense University Hospital which has been integrated as part of its internal education program aimed at long-term hospitalized patients..
This interactive floor stimulates children, both physically and mentally, It is a tool that they are using in the patient's medical care and that allows them to observe how children behave, the way they interact with others, What are their motor capacities and how do we react to different external stimuli?.
“This information is valuable for us as doctors, since it provides us with a more detailed image of the patient. Besides, We know that happy and stimulated children recover more quickly”, comments Arne Host.
WizeFloor is a solution that has been developed by Danish Solutors in cooperation with the Alexandra Institute and transforms an ordinary floor into an interactive experience that stimulates movement, creativity and communication through play.
This platform combined with the Panasonic PT-VX500 and PT-DX610 projectors, that can be installed on the ground, under glass or suspended from the ceiling, They allow you to view the different learning applications so that children use their hands and feet to interact with the images shown on the floor.. The system uses a tracking camera to create a user interface in which several people can interact simultaneously.
WizeFloor promotes collaboration, physical activity, communication, teamwork and knowledge sharing. The solution is supplied with an interactive software package that allows users to create their own learning games and where audio can be included, text and images.
