Ergonomic Eizo IPS FlexScan EV2455 and FlexScan EV2450 monitors for control rooms
Eizo has expanded its FlexScan line with the IPS EV2450 and EV2455 models, two devices with ultra-thin frame designed with IPS LED-Backlit LCD panel and a 178º viewing angle that minimizes color and contrast change, designed for business applications such as control rooms.
FlexScan EV2455 and FlexScan EV2450 IPS monitors from Eizo They are ideal for business environments such as operating rooms, back offices and control rooms. They present a new 'Fusion' design with Eizo EcoView's own technology to achieve reduced energy consumption and improved visual ergonomics within a compact cabin.
Its casing features ultra-thin frames of 1 mm on the sides and at the top and a depth of 47,9 mm for both models. This makes for an attractive, desktop-integrated design that reduces eye movement in a multi-monitor layout..
The FlexScan EV2455 features a 24,1 inches and a native resolution of 1920×1200 while the FlexScan EV2450 has 23,8 inches and 1920 X 1080 native resolution. Both monitors use an IPS LED-Backlit LCD panel with a 178º viewing angle that minimizes color shift and contrast changes when viewing the screen from an angle.. The brightness is 300 cd/m2 for the FlexScan EV2455 and 250 cd/m2 for EV2450. The contrast ratio for both devices is 1000:1.
These Eizo monitors incorporate four input terminals, that satisfy diverse business requirements, DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI-D y D-Sub mini 15-pin. They also include an ergonomic stand with 140 mm height adjustment, 40º of inclination (5º down, 35º up) and a turn of 344º. They pivot left and right so users can take advantage of the ultra-thin bezels when using two monitors in portrait mode.
Conventional brightness regulation methods for LED-backlit monitors cause many people to see flickering, which results in visual fatigue.. EIZO uses a hybrid technology that makes flickering imperceptible even at low brightness levels. In low light environments, brightness adjusts to 1 cd/m2 which is less than 1% of the maximum.
Ergonomic and energetic
Eizo incorporates its own EcoView technologies to reduce the energy consumption of 13 watts for the EV2455 and 12 watts for the EV2450. EcoView Optimizer 2 saves power by reducing backlit brightness and increases gain on screens consisting of mostly dark content. Auto EcoView automatically adjusts brightness based on changes in ambient brightness to decrease energy consumption while reducing eye strain.
Besides, a presence sensor called EcoView Sense 2 detects when the user leaves their desktop and automatically switches to power saving mode. When the user returns, EcoView Sense 2 turn on the monitor again. For greater precision, it detects both the user's movement and body heat.
Through the ScreenManager Pro and Eizo monitor configuration programs, screen adjustment is possible. The first allows you to adjust the color settings and EcoView allows it thanks to the mouse and keyboard instead of the on-screen display menu. Monitor Configurator allows system administrators to control settings for all FlexScan EV monitors with a USB connection.
Five preset modes included, sRGB, movie, paper, and two modes with user-adjustable settings. Paper mode reduces the amount of blue light to help prevent eye strain.
